These guidelines, established by Little Harmonies, align with the Public Liability Insurance for each class. They must be followed at all Little Harmonies classes.

  1. Children under 2 years old should remain seated with their instruments, except when collecting or returning them.
  2. All children must stay seated while using instruments that require a beater (such as triangles, wood blocks, drums, claves, and cymbals), except when collecting or returning them.
  3. At the discretion of the Class Teacher, children aged 2-3 may stand or move to music while using instruments like maracas, castanets, bells, and tambourines. They should stay close to their parent or guardian and be fully supervised. This also applies to props like streamers for children over 2 years old.
  4. Children over 3 years of age may move around with the above props and instruments when directed by the Class Teacher.
  5. The Class Teacher is responsible for distributing and collecting instruments with beaters, as well as streamers and cymbals.
  6. Instruments, beaters, or props should never be put in a child’s mouth.
  7. Children should not run or wander with instruments, beaters, or props. If a child needs to walk around, an adult should hold any instruments or props until the child is ready to return them.
  8. Adults must be fully responsible for the children in their care during Little Harmonies classes.
  9. Adhere to any applicable Covid guidelines specific to the region during classes.

We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone at Little Harmonies classes.
